How it works
Your birth date is converted to a lunar calendar moment, mapped to the sixty-cycle of stems and branches, then expanded into pillars using the classic rules: the Year Pillar changes at 立春 (Start of Spring), the Month Pillar at the solar terms, the Hour Pillar from the two-hour Zi-Hour system. Your Da Yun (ten-year luck cycles) start after a set interval computed from your gender and Year Pillar — forward for 阳男/阴女, retrograde otherwise.
